The Westward Look House was designed by Tucson architect Nicholas Sakellar and was completed in 1961 to house the Sakellar family of seven. The home was modern in concept, yet it was designed to have the character of an older home. Situated near a wash on the foothills of the Catalina Mountains, the home is beautifully located for enjoying all the beauty of the Arizona desert. The house features a large lawn, a patio, and a sparkling swimming pool, making it perfect for relaxing outdoors. Inside the home, large windows and screened porches make it easy to bring in the outdoors. This unique home will remain an icon for modern residential architecture and provides a great place for creating memories with friends and family in the great Southwest.
